Network Marketing Success Principle 4:Mastermind with Leaders

Napoleon Hill focuses on the subject of masterminding with leaders in his book Think and Grow Rich.  As he says ‘The cooperative alliance between 3 or more people working for the attainment of a definite purpose has been the basis for nearly every great fortune made.’

Whatever your field is, whether it is network marketing, the Corporate world or the entertainment industry, you want to find who are the best people in your industry and connect and network with them. Find out who is doing what you want to do and then learn from them how to do it. Do everything you can to be in their environment, even if it can’t be physical environment then you can become involved and present in their cyber world. This is so easy to do now with social media.

You’ll be amazed at how incredibly gracious successful people are with their time. They know what it’s like to be on a journey somewhere and are usually more than willing to share everything they know about creating success. Take full advantage of their knowledge and experience. Nothing will accelerate your evolution more than by being around these successful leaders and the environment in which they exist.

Take every opportunity you can find to hang out with self-made millionaires. Build relationships with them so that you have someone you can turn to by phone or email when you are in a bind and need direction. To achieve a goal takes courage and part of this courage is to stand up and do what the majority of people won’t do; walk up to a successful person and introduce yourself.

Make the first conversation you have with them memorable, make it light and real and have them forget for a moment that they are someone that somebody wants something from. You just want to have a chat and talk about things you have in common. Approaching it from this angle will prove to be more beneficial for you later, when the real masterminding is ready to begin.

Once you have built a relationship with your leaders, doors will open for you to mastermind with them more regularly. Napoleon Hill believed that a group of like-minded, achievement-oriented individuals could dramatically accelerate their success by leveraging each other’s talent. The truth of this has been proven over and over again.
When masterminding with others you are providing mutual support so this must be a two way street. Even though you are masterminding with the top leaders of your field, it does not mean that you do not have something worthwhile to contribute. Each mind presents a different way of looking at things.
