Napoleon Hill focuses on the subject of masterminding with leaders in his book Think and Grow Rich.  As he says ‘The cooperative alliance between 3 or more people working for the attainment of a definite purpose has been the basis for nearly every great fortune made.’

Whatever your field is, whether it is network marketing, the Corporate world or the entertainment industry, you want to find who are the best people in your industry and connect and network with them. Find out who is doing what you want to do and then learn from them how to do it. Do everything you can to be in their environment, even if it can’t be physical environment then you can become involved and present in their cyber world. This is so easy to do now with social media.

You’ll be amazed at how incredibly gracious successful people are with their time. They know what it’s like to be on a journey somewhere and are usually more than willing to share everything they know about creating success. Take full advantage of their knowledge and experience. Nothing will accelerate your evolution more than by being around these successful leaders and the environment in which they exist.

Take every opportunity you can find to hang out with self-made millionaires. Build relationships with them so that you have someone you can turn to by phone or email when you are in a bind and need direction. To achieve a goal takes courage and part of this courage is to stand up and do what the majority of people won’t do; walk up to a successful person and introduce yourself.

Make the first conversation you have with them memorable, make it light and real and have them forget for a moment that they are someone that somebody wants something from. You just want to have a chat and talk about things you have in common. Approaching it from this angle will prove to be more beneficial for you later, when the real masterminding is ready to begin.

Once you have built a relationship with your leaders, doors will open for you to mastermind with them more regularly. Napoleon Hill believed that a group of like-minded, achievement-oriented individuals could dramatically accelerate their success by leveraging each other’s talent. The truth of this has been proven over and over again.
When masterminding with others you are providing mutual support so this must be a two way street. Even though you are masterminding with the top leaders of your field, it does not mean that you do not have something worthwhile to contribute. Each mind presents a different way of looking at things.

Start a media fast by abstaining from watching the news, TV, newspapers, radio etc. Use this time instead to working on yourself in a positive manner. You’ll be amazed in your attitude and being simply by eliminating negative influences and replacing them with positive, empowering influences.

You should also be careful of the conversations you have with people. Always keep it on a positive and upbeat note and change the subject if it turns to a negative subject. The negative energy produced from negative conversations and people is something you do not want around you!

Becoming a student of Personal Development is an essential principle for success. You must make sure make a consistent commitment to do this daily. This will make a dramatic impact on your network marketing success.

In principle 1, we learned that knowing where you are going is vital to your success and visualization and gratitude will help bring it to you. However, meditating on a mountain top is not going to be enough. You also have to take action which leads us to principle number 2: Income Producing Activities

Let’s start by looking at the word ‘in-come’. Think of it terms of your goal in-coming to you. In order for your goal to
come-in there are certain activities you need to do to help produce that goal into your reality. Now usually when we talk about business, income producing activities means doing what brings the money in. But we can use this action step for any goal we set for ourselves. Income producing activities basically means performing the vital tasks each day that puts money on the table or takes weight of the hips. Prioritize your time so that each day you spend a couple of hours doing only these things.

In network marketing, income producing activities usually entails talking to people on the phone about your business opportunity, getting them on three ways and signing new associates up. It’s also going to mean performing your marketing tasks, which is an essential component of your business. It is also important for you to lead your team members and assist them do the same -all working together to build overall success.

When it comes time to take action, go to a quiet place so you can’t be disturbed. Forget about the filing of papers, the desk organizing, doing research or any of those ‘filler’ activities; which although may be useful, are not the powerhouse activities that will have you surging toward the completion of your goal.

Schedule a time each day to do your income producing activities and be consistent with it. Ask yourself ‘What am I willing to sacrifice in order to get my income producing activities done? This is a vital question for you to ask. If you want to achieve real results you have to sacrifice something. That is true for any goal you are working on. It might mean an hour less of TV or Facebook a day, getting up an hour earlier or losing some social time with family and friends.

Making the sacrifice shows that you are committed to being a network marketing success story. For any goal you want to achieve you must give up something in return in order to bring that to fruition. If you are not willing to make a sacrifice then you will never be a success in this business. It all comes back to what is your WHY? If your WHY is big enough you will easily make the sacrifice and you will commit to doing income producing activities daily in order to achieve your goals and become a network marketing success story.

Success in network marketing will come to you much easier when you follow certain success principles. These 5 principles I will be discussing over the next several blogposts. 

With any business or any task you take on in life it is essential to know where you are going. 

 “If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.” Yogi Berra  

Knowing your destination will enable you to move in the right direction. This principle is really the foundation for all the other principles. They rely on this one to be effective. There are 3 steps involved in this principle.

1. Set Goals

When setting goals it is very important to get completely clear on what it is you want. One way to ensure your clarity is to focus on your why. Why do you want to have success in network marketing? What is the destination for? If it’s a million dollars you want – why do you want it? what will you use it for?

When it comes time to write your goals, be very specific and detail orientated. Write as if the goal has already been achieved. Put a time on it as to when you would like the goal to be achieved by and then add some extra power by writing how grateful you are to have it.Write your goal down on a card and carry it with you, reading it throughout the day many times. Doing this will help you to get back on track, stay focused during tough times and remind you of all the great things on their way to you.

2. Visualization: Moving from Goal Setting to Goal Getting

Every day you should take some quiet time to meditate and visualize your goals. When you visualize you need to see yourself already in the possession  of the goal you seek. The key here is repetition and consistency.

Visualizing can be done at any time of the day or night. It’s when you find a quiet time to really see in your mind’s eye, your life as you would like it to be. The key to visualization is to really make it come alive through your five senses, just like any great novelist would do.

The key to powerful visualization is the feelings you attach to it. Pretend that you have your goal right now. How do you feel? Now tap into these strong emotions and feel them deep down inside your core and don’t let go. Increase the strength and intensity and you will increase the power and certainty of achieving your goal!

3. Acknowledgement and Gratitude

It is important that throughout the whole journey of your goal actualization you stop to take time to acknowledge all your wins, big and small. Every goal will consist of smaller goals and steps you need to take to get to your final destination. Acknowledging your achievements will help to fuel your resolve and enthusiasm to keep moving forward in your network marketing business. It will help you to develop confidence and belief in yourself and your goals.

One aspect of acknowledgement is expressing gratitude.You will feel powerful and happy when you spend moments throughout the day in gratitude for all you have achieved in your network marketing business. When we are grateful for what we already have in life, it opens up the path to attract more. Expressing all you are thankful for everyday is an opportunity for you to tap into the power of gratitude – the King of All Virtues.

Remember, it is also very important to express gratitude with your intentions. This is when you give thanks for all the great things in your life that are on their way to you. Think about your goal and focus on it already being realized and give gratitude for its arrival. Act as if it is already yours through your thanks for it. The more thankful you are the more the Universe will bring you to be thankful for. Remember the more you can intensify the feelings of your thanks the more you can utilize the magic of the Universe to help bring what you want into existence.

Dubli Network was founded in 2003 and is a dynamic, growing and success oriented marketing company. It’s overall goal is to network Dubli.com and exciting and recognized global auction house. Buyers get access to lots of brand-name products at absolute lowest prices. At the same time Dubli Network offers people around the world a unique opportunity to generate extra income through their own lucrative part-time or full-time business. Dubli is a consumer driven company. DubLi’s shopping portal (online mall) is a place where a DubLi member (who joins for free),  can simply go direct to a Brand Name Merchant e.g. Target.com, Macy’s.com and purchase from them directly, and that merchant handles the complete transaction, including the shipping. And as a DubLi member there is a cash back rewards program, great discounts, and a restaurant voucher and coupon program. Also, Dubli gives a customer free credits to bid on their auctions when they purchase through the mall.

Here is DubLi’s Business model in a nutshell.

Their “auctions” are simply a “sticky site”, to get people to hang around and create excitement. But DubLi’s main goal is to direct people through to their shopping portal (online mall), because that’s where they make the real money! e.g they are paid “click through fees” from the search engines, and revenue share with the Brand Name merchants when someone buys a product from them sent by DubLi.

This is just like eBay. Their auctions are their sticky, but most of eBay’s income comes from people going to their stores (shopping.com) which eBay owns. The same with google. Their “free search engine” is their sticky, but they make all their money from click through fees and advertising. And finally Amazon. Their books are their sticky, but they also make most of their money by directing people elsewhere!

The excitement of Dubli lies in it’s auctions. This is the fun sticky site where the price lowers with each bid placed. It’s original listing price is always backed by Dubli’s lowest price guarantee so even if you bought before the price was lowered by the bids you would still get the best price online.  No matter how low an item sells for, DubLi still only make what it was listed for. It costs 80c to bid, which reduces the price by 25c, and the Dubli rep gets 55c. So for every bid that DubLi gets 25c, they reduce the price by 25c, it cancels each other out. Yes the lower the item sells for the more the reps make, but that’s why it’s a business.

So, the merchant is happy because DubLi bought 1000 Apple macs at cost to put on their auction site, DubLi is happy because they always get their list price, the customer is happy because they get a great deal, and the rep is happy for getting 55c each bid. It’s a win-win-win-win and that’s what makes Dubli so unique!

Now you may ask, why would someone want to pay 80c to bid and see the current price? Well, here’s the analogy. In America they have huge shopping centers (COSTCO, Sam’s Club, and BJ”s) which are a membership club and require a yearly membership from $50 – $120. And by the way, Costco have 50 million members who each pay $50 per year, so before anyone even buys anything in their stores, they already make $2.5 Billion. Not bad huh! Why would someone pay to shop at Costco, when they can shop for free at K-mart or Wal-mart? Because they can get quality products at great prices. We personally shop at Costco and BJ’s and it saves so much off our monthly grocery bill. Well worth the membership fee.  It’s the value! Just like DubLi, it’s the opportunity to get Brand Name Fully warranted products at a big discount.

Finally, DubLi is paying it’s reps to spread the word (approx 60%) through viral marketing and social media, because it costs an absolute fortune to set something up like this, and they would rather have 40% of something, than 100% of nothing – smart business! What Dubli gets with its network marketing model is initial customers fast and cheap and so gives up a cut of it’s revenue stream which is pays out in commissions to it’s Business Associates instead for the life of their customers. Dubli’s business model is a win-win for everyone involved from Dubli to the  customers to the merchants and more importantly for you the rep.

When considering joining any network marketing company it’s important you understand it’s business model first and then you join a strong, growing, leadership team with a marketing system in place for you to use to easily use to grow your business with.

Time management is key in our network marketing business. We need to be effective managers of time if we want true and long lasting success. It all comes back to your level of commitment. How committed are you to your dreams and success? If you are committed you will find the time to do what it is you need to get down to progress to the realization of your goals.

Life is extremely busy and we have a lot we need to fit in to our daily schedules and routines. An effective manager of time will utilize pockets of time throughout the day doing the daily routines to fit in tasks they need to get accomplished for their business.

I am a full time working mother but I am totally committed to my success. I’m committed to submitting one piece of content a day for the next 100 days. It is extremely time consuming but I’m committed so I find the time each day. As you’ll see in the video 5 minutes here and there such as travelling in the car can make a huge difference to your business.

Effective time management is the key to your success. Yossi Ghinsberg says it best:

‘Dreams are not meant for sleeping, they are there to keep you awake at night.’

At the end of my Chinese meal last night I received the obligatory fortune cookie which fittingly read : ‘In order to capture a city, first capture the heart of the people’ This is my path right now and the essence of personal brand marketing. Personal Branding is the way you market yourself to the world. The secret to success in your network marketing business is to promote yourself not your product or opportunity. People join people and if you capture their hearts you are more likely to capture their business and have you join them as their leader.

Your personal brand is what other people see you as being and offering them. When creating your internet marketing strategy you will develop your unique selling proposition. This is where you incorporate your unique talents and story into your brand and use that as a way to offer value to people’s lives.

Why is personal brand marketing such an effective way to capture the city?

Personal branding allows you to establish yourself as an expert in your chosen field and build a solid reputation. It increases your perceived value in the marketplace. Personal branding allows people to get to know you, so they can get comfortable with you and build that trust and rapport with you. Personal branding allows yourself to show others that you can offer them something of value, that you aren’t  just an empty screen trying to sell them yet another product. There is a face and a story behind the business who your potential customers can connect with more personally.

Creating your brand is an easy and fun process. I mean it’s all about you. You already know who you are and who you are not and it’s easy for you to be consistent with it. You don’t have to make any of this up or think too hard and long about it. Bring the strongest part of you to the brand. Make it stand out, be consistent and offer tremendous value to your market.

There are 3 easy steps to branding yourself effectively.

1.Establish personal brand identity:

What is your unique selling proposition? Who do you want to be known as? What angle can you spin on things to promote yourself? Use your skills, talents and past experiences and bring that to your brand and business. There is no one else like you. Why is that? This is where you’ll find your unique selling proposition and what you can offer to others.

We’ve travelled to 34 countries around the world and through these experiences have learned so much about life and success. We know what it takes to achieve your dreams and so can help others to do it too. Our life has always been fun and interesting and so that is our angle. It’s what we know so well, it’s our strength at and it makes branding us fun and easy.

2.Focus that message on who you are and what you stand for within your chosen field.

What is it that you are trying to achieve in your field? It’s not just the million dollar bank account although this should be high on your list. Focus your message and brand on what your purpose is and what you are trying to achieve in your field. For us we are totally in love with this beautiful planet. We want help others become the best they can be which in turn will have a positive impact on the health of our planet. We want people to experience the world like we have and so that is what we focus our message on: The beauty of life and how we can help others experience the abundance of it in all areas of their life.

3. Get the word out through a variety of media channels that are viewed by the people most likely to be interested in your message.

This is the most challenging of the personal branding marketing strategy. Allowing people to get to know you. You’ve spent all the time building your brand and you’re ready for the world, now you have to find the right people who will want to ‘hang out’ with you. Nowadays in the internet world there are fantastic free methods through social media where you can do this.

The most powerful way is to plug yourself into a personal branded marketing system that can do the work for you. Our personal branded marketing system gets you branded and out in cyberspace immediately and trains you on how to be most effective with it.  You just have to plug your brand in the system and your ready to go.

Personal branding will allow you to capture the heart of the people. Before you know it thousands of people will not only know who you are but they will begin to seek out your services and expertise. They will identify with your brand which is YOU and then city will be yours.

Most Internet and network marketers state the  preference that they would like an abundance of leads flowing into their business daily. It’s something they would really like to happen. The fact is that only a small percentage of marketers actually commit to having an abundance of leads flowing into their business daily.

That is why only 5% of people within the industry become seven figure income earners. Most people aren’t prepared to do whatever it takes to explode their business. That means that those who are committed have such a wide, fruitful field to pick from. There is unlimited leads and income potential for those that are committed to their business as the competition is so much less.

Why is it That Most People Don’t Commit?

Fear: Most people let their fears hold them back. They are afraid of failure or afraid of success. They are afraid to put themselves on the line in case it doesn’t work out. For the committed marketer the fear is real but it is swallowed up by sheer desire to be a success no matter what. The fear of not being in the top 5% drives them to do whatever it takes especially if it involves putting themselves out there and on the line.

Lack of Belief: The majority of marketers believe it won’t work for them due to their limiting beliefs. They may try it and not receive results immediately and so resign themselves to the fact it won’t work and give up. The committed marketer uses the results of others to cement in them the belief that they can do it too. They find a profitable success formula to follow.

Lack of Knowledge: The committed marketer will not let this stand in their way. They will do whatever it takes to learn what they need to rise to the top and then apply it. Lack of knowledge is no excuse as there is always someone who is doing it who you can learn from. Committed marketers find a marketing and training system they can use to create their knowledge and success.

Lack of Money: Before social media marketing, this may have been a valid reason to a certain extent. There are so many avenues available today for the savvy marketer to learn and apply free marketing techniques to generate an abundance of leads. My mentor and friend, David Wood, is one of those who went from broke to over 100 quality leads a day in 3 months applying free article marketing techniques. Lack of money is an issue of the past.

Lack of Time: Investing time into your business is essential for you to have success. The majority of marketers aren’t prepared to find the time to dedicate to their marketing. The committed marketer will do what ever it takes to re-organize their schedule so they can fit in the vital tasks needed to explode their business.
