To be a leader of others you first must be a leader of yourself. True leaders are brave enough to stand at the front of their lives. A leader expects to win. They expect success of themselves and of others. True leaders play Full Out! They follow Principles 1-4 confidently and consistently and know that they are guaranteed results. Every step they take is one that will move them in the direction of their goals.

You don’t have to already have a team of people in order to lead. When you start leading yourself and start ‘being’ a leader you will find that soon enough a team of people will be following you. After all, people only want to follow someone who is going somewhere. Your objective then is to bring out the best in them. You are willing to pay the price of success and so you expect others to pay the same price of success. Therefore you will be cultivating an expectation of their leadership.

A true leader is one who walks their own path and maintains that path through faith, courage and perseverance. Their eyes are fixed firmly on the goal ahead of them. They do not look back to see what the herd are doing behind them and their path is not blocked by anyone else in front of them.  A true leader is doing what the herd are too scared to do. Find any successful person and you’ll find a person who carved their own path. They did it their way and dared to do more than the average, to stick their neck out, to take the risks and be the leader of themselves first.

When becoming a leader the most important quality you can ever develop that will enhance every part of your life and help you become a leader, is the value of integrity. Integrity is the core value of a successful and happy life. Having integrity means being totally honest and truthful in every part of your life. A true leader makes a commitment to become a totally honest person and in doing so ensures that they will be doing more to create success and happiness in their life.

A person of high integrity always carries out the highest quality of work in everything they do. They are totally honest with themselves and strive to excellence on every occasion. They realize everything they do is a statement about who they are as a person. A person of high integrity leads their own life. They live on purpose and in doing so inspire others to do the same.

As you act with integrity in everything you do, you will find that every part of your life will improve. You will begin to attract the best people and situations into your life. You will become an outstanding person as well as a success in everything you do. You attract into your life who and what you are being. If you are being a leader you will then attract leaders.

Whatever it is you want to achieve in your life you need to ask yourself ‘What do I have to do to play full out?’ Do you need to invest at the highest level of your business so that you can be rewarded at the highest level? Do you need to volunteer to run the meetings, so your worth in your company grows and alongside that the roles you play?

Being a leader means figuring it out and knowing for yourself. It means playing full out, having integrity, being the best you can be and expecting the same of all those who cross your path.

Build relationships with them so that you have someone you can turn to by phone or email when you are in a bind and need direction. To achieve a goal takes courage and part of this courage is to stand up and do what the majority of people won’t do; walk up to a successful person and introduce yourself.

Make the first conversation you have with them memorable, make it light and real and have them forget for a moment that they are someone that somebody wants something from. You just want to have a chat and talk about things you have in common. Approaching it from this angle will prove to be more beneficial for you later, when the real masterminding is ready to begin.

Once you have built a relationship with your leaders, doors will open for you to mastermind with them more regularly. This is just like eBay. Their auctions are their sticky, but most of eBay’s income comes from people going to their stores (shopping.com) which eBay owns. The same with google. Their “free search engine” is their sticky, but they make all their money from click through fees and advertising. And finally Amazon. Their books are their sticky, but they also make most of their money by directing people elsewhere!

The excitement of Dubli lies in it’s auctions. This is the fun sticky site where the price lowers with each bid placed. It’s original listing price is always backed by Dubli’s lowest price guarantee so even if you bought before the price was lowered by the bids you would still get the best price online.  No matter how low an item sells for, DubLi still only make what it was listed for. It costs 80c to bid, which reduces the price by 25c, and the Dubli rep gets 55c. So for every bid that DubLi gets 25c, they reduce the price by 25c, it cancels each other out. Yes the lower the item sells for the more the reps make, but that’s why it’s a business.

So, the merchant is happy because DubLi bought 1000 Apple macs at cost to put on their auction site, DubLi is happy because they always get their list price, the customer is happy because they get a great deal, and the rep is happy for getting 55c each bid. It’s a win-win-win-win and that’s what makes Dubli so unique!

Now you may ask, why would someone want to pay 80c to bid and see the current price? Well, here’s the analogy. In America they have huge shopping centers (COSTCO, Sam’s Club, and BJ”s) which are a membership club and require a yearly membership from $50 – $120. And by the way, Costco have 50 million members who each pay $50 per year, so before anyone even buys anything in their stores, they already make $2.5 Billion. Not bad huh! Why would someone pay to shop at Costco, when they can shop for free at K-mart or Wal-mart? Because they can get quality products at great prices. We personally shop at Costco and BJ’s and it saves so much off our monthly grocery bill. Well worth the membership fee.  It’s the value! Just like DubLi, it’s the opportunity to get Brand Name Fully warranted products at a big discount.

Finally, DubLi is paying it’s reps to spread the word (approx 60%) through viral marketing and social media, because it costs an absolute fortune to set something up like this, and they would rather have 40% of something, than 100% of nothing – smart business! What Dubli gets with its network marketing model is initial customers fast and cheap and so gives up a cut of it’s revenue stream which is pays out in commissions to it’s Business Associates instead for the life of their customers. Dubli’s business model is a win-win for everyone involved from Dubli to the  customers to the merchants and more importantly for you the rep.

When considering joining any network marketing company it’s important you understand it’s business model first and then you join a strong, growing, leadership team with a marketing system in place for you to use to easily use to grow your business with.

Article Marketing is a very powerful marketing strategy. If done correctly it will increase your search engine rankings quickly and explode your exposure on the Internet. Article marketing gives you authority and positions yourself as a leader  in your field. People want to follow leaders who can help show them how to have success.

Article marketing poses a challenge though. Writing articles and submitting can be very time consuming. There is a lot to do to get it completed, effectively.  First you have to think of a topic to write about. You then have to do some research, including keyword research- a vital yet boring part of the whole process. Your notebook of ideas will really come in handy for the days you have a dry spell of ideas.

2. Do video posts. Video posts are a powerful piece of content that you can use instead of articles. Videos are extremely popular on the internet. Make it no longer than 3-5 minutes. You can shoot these on any topic. They are quick and easy to do and you can do them on the fly no matter where you are. There is nothing really much to edit and when you use a great program like traffic geyser you can have your video blasted to hundreds of different sites at the click of a button. This results in massive exposure and high search engine rankings. Google loves video.

3. Use Article Submitting Software You are going to find being successful with this article marketing strategy extremely difficult if you do not use an article submitting software . This software is going to enable you to spin your article to create multiple different, unique versions. This is essential if you want to raise your organic ranking on Google. It also submits your article to hundreds of different article directories automatically. This saves you days of work and gets you hundreds of back links to your website.

4. Outsource This might not be an option for you when you first start out but it’s definitely something that needs to be on your future list of ways to save time. You can find people to do all the small technical tasks for you like spinning and submitting your posts. This frees up time for you to work on the creative side of things. You can find people who are willing to do the work for you for inexpensive rates. Outsourcing is key to your wealth building.

At the end of my Chinese meal last night I received the obligatory fortune cookie which fittingly read : ‘In order to capture a city, first capture the heart of the people’ This is my path right now and the essence of personal brand marketing. Nowadays in the internet world there are fantastic free methods through social media where you can do this.

The most powerful way is to plug yourself into a personal branded marketing system that can do the work for you. Domain Name and Hosting

It must be hosted on your own domain name. This is the best way for you to brand yourself. Choose a strong name that suits your business or you! Having your own blog domain name is so much more professional and will make you stand out from the crowd. Think about what your marketing purpose is and tie your name somehow into this. Make it keyword rich if you can (a bit harder if it’s going to be your own name) so that Google will be attracted to it. My first blog Enjoy Wealth and Happiness is a keyword rich domain name whereas this one is more about branding myself and it’s going to go nicely with another blog of ours coming soon that will be similarly named.

There are free hosting blogs out there like blogger.com, but you really want to host it yourself. Hosting it yourself gives you total control over your blog and what you post on it. You’ll never have to worry about being shut down or changes occurring with the free blogging service and so messing things up for you. I like to use hostgator to host my blog accounts. It’s known to be one of the best out there, it’s monthly fees are cheap and they have unlimited domain hosting. So for the one low monthly  price I currently host 3 of my personal websites through them. There support is incredible which is especially comforting if you are like me and can be quite html challenged at times.

WordPress

It must be a Word Press Blog. You cannot beat a Word Press blog. They are the most popular and they have so many features and plug-ins that can be easily installed which will help your blog run more efficiently and be picked up by the search engines more easily. There are so many themes you can choose from and with a quick push of a button you can have a professional looking site up in minutes. What I love about Word Press is that you can even use their platform to add static pages as well so to have it more looking like a website. A professional designed website could cost you thousands of dollars. Use word press and it’s free, performs all the functions, looks great and Google will love it!

If you are serious about using a blog to generate a lot of free traffic then you really must follow these few simple rules. Begin by doing these. Don’t think you will start off by doing the completely free route and then changing over later on. I went down that path(only from not understanding the power of what I’ve outlined above) and so lost a lot of my readers and search engine ranking when I changed my site over to wordpress and my own hosted domain. You don’t want all that time and effort to be for nothing and have to start all over again. Learn from my mistakes and do it right from the beginning.

Hosting your blog on your own branded domain name and using word press is the best way for you to get further ahead in the search engines and to be branded as a marketing leader.

There is one very simple and powerful method to attract hundreds more visitors to your site daily and that is having your own blog. If you are not doing this then you are missing out on at least doubling the visitors to your site. Remember more traffic, means more leads which means more business.

Having your own blog is the easiest thing to do. So many people aren’t doing it so you’ll put yourself light years ahead of the competition if you do it. A blog should be the heartbeat of your online business.

4) Once you publish a blog post it gets pinged to google. This automatically lets google know there is new information to index and it gets indexed immediately unlike standard content websites. The power of pinging lies though, in the fact that the ping sends a link to 40-60 other websites letting them know your blog has been updated. These links back to your blogs increases your ranking on Google. Remember one of Google ranking rules is the more ‘popular’ your sites seem (due to these link backs) then the higher you’ll rank.

Blogging is the best free lead generation tool. Make your blog the hub of your business, and a must in your marketing plan. You’ll get ranked better, faster and easier. And we all know higher rankings on google means better business and higher profits.
